Beary Best Academy for Children

Beary Best Academy has been an incredible place for our little girl for the past two years. We were really nervous about putting her in daycare after having one-on-one care as an infant, but from the very first day, we've been absolutely sure that it was the perfect decision, thanks to Beary Best! The caregivers have been without a single exception loving, kind, and informative. We've been through some tough behaviors, but they've worked alongside us and have been instrumental in correcting them. And every day she comes home knowing something new - from songs to counting and alphabet, even manners! The ladies in the infant and toddler rooms, and now 2A and 2B, have my utter trust and respect - they are magicians! We still go by to see our previous teachers because she and I love them so much. And the staff is incredibly stable (which is unusual); we have only experienced a tiny bit of turnover - one to care for her newborn and one to return to college. We miss them both, but their replacements were also amazing, and we wouldn't give up knowing them for the world! And it isn't just the caregivers that work directly with our daughter... every person in the building seems to know her name. On her birthday, everyone we saw wished her happy birthday and gave her a hug. The management is wonderful and does an amazing job keeping things running smoothly and keeping the curriculum tip-top. They always have a long list of monthly activities to keep the kids engaged. Safety is always a concern for me, and Beary Best does everything right - from room set up to a super video system that lets the front office see all areas of the building, to TWO code-locked entry doors. This is a warm, wonderful learning environment that makes me smile every time I go in. My daughter is always excited to get there, and when I pick her up, she usually wants to stay! That is the true sign of excellence in my opinion! We are grateful to have found Beary Best Academy!

Discrimination!!!! My 22 month old never had the chance to experience any care at Berry Best. During our tour of the facility, we informed them that she is not walking yet even though she is about to be 2 years old. Our daughter has Agenesis of the corpus callosum. The lady stated that she would be in the tots room but could not advance to the twos room until she is walking. We fell in love with the facility and called a day later to see what we had to do to register. When my husband called, he was informed by another lady that my daughter would have to stay in the infant room until she was walking but that he could call and talk to the director in the morning. We decided that was fine and he called and spoke to the director the following morning. She then informed him that our daughter could not come to their center for child care until she is walking. They have refused to even try her in either room. She is too old for the infant room but not able to go into the tot room either. Very frustrating that their staff has no clue as to their policies since 2 other staff members told us differently. The director was VERY rude to my husband. Obviously they are not about the children or willing to work with parents to find a solution. They are the ONLY center who had a problem with our daughters learning disability.

My kids and grandkids have gone to and two still at BBA....BEST choice we ever made! I called the state before enrolling and they have best rating given....no problems ever...and with 5 different rowdy kiddos that's pretty darn good! Keep up the good work...!

Flat out the worst place my child has gone to. There's no need to elaborate. Just plain out the worst.

I AGREE WITH PREVIOUS REVIEW! I visited almost every child care center in Frisco before making the decision to enroll my children at Beary Best Academy. My children had been at the same center for over 2 years and for several reasons, we wanted to make a change. From the first time we toured the school, we knew it was where we wanted our children. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and our children did not want to leave. My children have been been enrolled for almost a year and the are very happy. There are so many things for them to do and they have learned so much. It was the BEST move we could have ever made for our children.

Our years at Beary Best Academy have been a WONDERFUL experience for my children! They love going to school each day and don't want to leave when I pick them up. They love their teachers and the many fun activities planned for them each day. My husand and i are amazed at what our children have learned. We highly recomment Beary Best to EVERYONE!!! :)
