Macy's

My husband and I had been looking for wingback recliners in thr right color for a while ,so when we saw them advertised we rushed to the Baybrook Mall location to see them. Sure enough the chairs were exactly what we expected but we had to seek out someone to assist us in paying and to set up a delivery or pick-up. we found one employee sitting at a desk, obviously on a personal phone call. O.K. maybe it was a slow Sunday afternoon. She informed us that we could NOT have the chairs shipped to the store for us to pick up.O.K. Well, what about us picking them up from the warehouse? Well, they are only open certain times of the day and NOT at a time the average working person can go. So delivery was the ONLY option for us. We were charged $95.00 PER CHAIR for delivery from Baybrook Mall to LaMarque . We will never shop at Macy's again.. I sell furniture myself and could not believe the lack of attention to customers,lack of courtesy,and the rudeness of the employee when we questioned the cost of delivery for such a short distance. Macy's needs to rethink their service charges and follow up on the se employees who are representing the store name!!!!!!!
