Cafe Adobe Baybrook

I love this place. Great patio, friendly staff, managers that really get to know you.

The perfect margarita really is the best margarita in houston. SIt on the patio if you want to carry on a concersation on the weekend. Try the Street Tacos they were reasonable priced an awesome. My favorite hostess will be leaving for college. I really will miss her smiling face.

I really enjoyed this Cafe Adobe in Baybrook. It is a nice restaurant in a good area near 45 hwy. We ate there on a Friday afternoon, family of four. The staff was really pleasant and attentive. The salsa was served nicely warmed and was good with the tortilla chips. It is obviously jar sauce, but still decent. I didn't care for the tomatillo sauce.



The FOOD is why they get a 4-star rating. My wife, daughters and I are normally a bit picky and we want to enjoy our Mexican food. If it was just "good" or not really enjoyable, Cafe Adobe would get no better than a 3 from me... going down from there. Their food was ENJOYABLE. The refried beans actually had flavor and texture to them. My daughters said the refried beans here are really good. The mexican rice was well flavored and seasoned. I had their mango salad with grilled chicken. Excellent choice. The chicken was tender, very flavorful, the salad had really nice flavors and textures... it was definitely a winner. My wife had the Chimichanga, while one daughter had the Flautas. Nothing was greasy, everything was flavorful and well prepared.



I have read bad reviews about Cafe Adobe's other locations. THIS one is really good. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is nice, it's a family friendly sit-down restaurant and is very enjoyable. If I lived closer, we would be regular customers.

I highly recommend this Cafe Adobe just based on the very good food quality and service.

I am not a huge fan of Mexican food unless its a taco or chimichunga but i really love the food and atmosphere
