Child Abuse
Seven children between the ages of 6 and 7 years old were molested while attending Visalia Unified School District. The sexual abuse occurred by a janitor during school hours. As a result, a lawsuit was filed against the school district. It was claimed that the school district failed to supervise and protect the minor children.

Wrongful Death

A Fresno State women’s basketball coach sued Fresno State for wrongful termination, gender discrimination and violation of Title IX. Plaintiff, Stacy Johnson-Klein claimed that she was terminated for exposing the university to its unequal treatment of female athletes while she coached Division 1 basketball at Fresno State.
