Dermer's Creative Care

I have had both my girls at Dermers since they were infants we're going on almost 6 years of attendance. I love Dermers staff and philosophy and would recommend them to anybody!

Great staff, curriculum, and very clean! Both kids have attended preschool here (one current) and they love it. Snacks and lunch provided, potty training assistance, and consistent with cleaning/sanitizing.

The best thing we could have done for our daughters. The teachers are the best,and my daughter's prove it.

We visited MANY local centers before placing him here, and we have very high standards for curriculum, staffing and site condition. Dermer's is always clean, and my son absolutely loves going each day. He is individually greeted each morning and has learned all the preschool concepts. They have prepared him very well for school and in the meantime, he's having fun! I would highly recommend Dermer's to any discerning parent. In regards to other reviews, I have arrived unannounced several times, and never found the staff to child ratios compromised. Also, the teachers implement a routine and classroom rules very well. They are kind and nurturing to all the children. The safety and well being of the children is a primary concern.

I have been familiar with this family run preschool for many years. My daughter attended years ago and now I have two grand children attending. The education that my daughter got there years ago with amazing. So far we are delighted with the experiences that the baby and three year old are getting. What I can say is that at anytime I had any type of concern all I had to do was talk with the director or the owner and it will be addressed right away. For us the small family run school has be great.

I love it my great granddaughter's it....The staff are so loving, friendly and helpful. she started going when she was two, she is 3 now and has learned so much. I was always hesitant about someone else taking care of my kids,grandkids and gg...But I am so delighted with the way they have worked with my great granddaughter and all the things she has learned. I highly recommend Dermers's Creative Care and Preschool......you won't be sorry.

Can't say enough about this school. They love my baby like he was their own. I feel so comfortable leaving my almost 2 year old with the amazing staff and I know he is learning so much!

We have trusted Dermers with both our kids from infants through pre-K. We have been so blessed with amazing teachers, great curriculum and a loving environment. When I told the kindergarten teacher that our child had been at Dermers, she immediately said she knew he would do great in the class! As a working mom, I never worry about the level of care when they are at school. Highly recommend!

Dermers is the best daycare. Before I enrolled my daughter at Dermers she had been to three other daycares. Me being a new mom was very scared leaving my daughter at any day care. The other daycares she had went to prior to Dermers were extremly horrible. I had wish I had found Dremers first. The staff at Dermers are very loving and caring they treat the children as if they were their own. I would highly recommend Dermers. My daughter loved it there.

I had my child here at this school. LOVED IT! I had to move out of the area and that was the only reason he is not still there. Everyone is very genuine! Very professional, clean, excellant kid friendly enviorment. I miss it! It's hard to find good day cares like this.

As a former teacher and current district administrator, high quality learning experiences, a loving environment, and child safety was extremely important to my family when looking for a child care and pre-school location for our son. Dermer's was the best decision we could have made & our son started there as an infant, attending through pre-school. Our son left above grade level and ready to read. All of his teachers were amazing. They went above & beyond to provide creative opportunities to build social skills, while keeping students joyful, respectful, and learning! The entire Dermer's staff is friendly, helpful, and part of a school community that cares for our kiddos!

My son has been here for over a month and this is his first daycare. Besides loving the location very close to my work, the staff has been very good at helping my son transition. Whether it's me calling on my lunch checking on him, or he being a little more needy, they are very good with him. They do arts and crafts which is wonderful because I have them to bring home and they do special events for holidays. Their child to teacher ratio is low and they are really hands on with my son. I really like this place and so does my son.

My daughters have gone to Dermer's for years.. I love the place & the staff is like family. They really take the time to spend with the children and tech them. I recommend Dermer's to anyone. Only downfall is that they dont take school aged kids after Kindergarten....

Both my children have gone to Dermer's. I can honestly say that I always felt like my children were safe there and the staff is very good. The play area is fantastic and although it is clean, it is still homey enough for a child to still have fun. I love that they have scheduled project and a curriculum rather than just siting them in from of a TV all day.

An outstanding preschool with a great local reputation! We're privileged to call them a partner in early education, and appreciate Dermers' support for enrichment and active programming through play.

I have had two children attend Dermer's and I have nothing but great things to say about the school, teachers and owner. Sandy, the owner, takes much pride in her operation and her love for the children is undeniable. The teachers also show such compassion and love to the kids, it has always made me feel safe and trusting to leave my boys there. Both of my boys started in the newborn room at 2 months old. They are organized, well staffed, clean, and the most important part to me, they love the children. They most definitely do the best they can to keep them on the same schedule you have established or if your a parent like me, they help you develop a schedule. They track everything- literally everything that you have a report to review when you pick up. It is awesome. (I tried a home daycare prior, doesn't come close to comparing to this) The boys moved into room 1 - again, a very well managed room from their daily schedules, meals - everything is documented. Kids will be kids, as far as accidents, my son is very clumsy and any incident that occurred, they provide an accident report. They will call you. They will do anything to comfort your baby. Would I recommend them to my friends and family? 110% yes. IF I have another child, they absolutely will be attending. Thank you Sandy and team for a wonderful program!

A great center and friendly staff. I was promptly notified of injuries when my child had been bitten by other kids. Daughter enjoyed attending this center.

I heard good things about this school which is why I had enrolled my son there. At the time, he was about 14 mos old and was in the infant room. The teachers in that room looked completely exhausted and unhappy and looked like they could barely handle all the kids (usually about 20 or more kids in the class). Once my son was 19 months they finally put him in the big kid room (18 to 30 mos). He seemed to enjoy the class and the teachers were nice, until recently..I went to pick him up around noon and they left him crying in a corner by himself! (which was very uncommen for him to be so upset). I asked what was wrong, what happened? They just said he didn't want to sit and read his book?? What? So they just let him ball his eyes out without consoling him? There were 3-4 teachers in the class and not one of them could hold him or try to make him feel better? It was an awful to see my 22 month old little boy with tears streaming down his face. I have decided I will never go back and there are plenty of other places I would be happy to give my business to. Also of note, the Dermers are all about the money and bottom line. I seriously question their integrity and commitment to kids
