College Manor Apts

For years, I had heard that the area of Shaw and Sixth in Freeno was as bad as living in Southeast Fresno. I was told it was gang controlled and drug riddled. So when I first found myself on a fixed income five years ago, I chose the cheapest apartment I could find in Clovis on Alamos and Peach, just off of Shaw. I quickly discovered that area of Clovis is indeed run by gangs, drug riddled and overrun with homeless squatters. Even in my own complex, I couldn't walk out my door without stumbling on to a drug buy in progress. After five years, my rent went up and my income went down. When I found my apartment at College Manor Apartments for $200.00 less, I decided if I could live at Alamos and Peach, I could live anywhere and I made the move. And again, I was surprised. It is quiet, my neighbors are orderly, nobody is just loitering about. The area is clean and tidy. And I feel realitivly safe. Upon moving in and discovering my oven didn't work, the management replaced my stove with a very nice one. My apartment is cute and cozy. I'd recconmend College Manor to anybody!
