BBMC was established in 1991 to serve the mental health needs of The Central Valley. Our managed care system has over 25 years experience in a capitated environment, contracting at-risk for 80,000 lives. In addition to our in-house providers, our Independent Provider Network (IPN) provides clinical services to four counties — Fresno, Kings, Madera, and Tulare — allowing us to offer a broad range of clinical expertise to meet the diverse needs of the community.

We work closely with Community Medical Centers (the 2nd busiest hospital in the state) providing services for their inpatient psychiatric hospital, Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC), the only acute inpatient psychiatric facility in the region. CBHC is undergoing expansion — 12 new beds within the current four units this year and another 32 more in a new, state-of-the-art pavilion to come. In anticipation, we are seeking a full-time psychiatrist that could support both the increased inpatient load and our busy outpatient practice.
