Operational for more than 35 years, CentraState Healthcare System is a private, nonprofit health care organization offering a variety of health and wellness programs and services for the community. The organization comprises various health care facilities and centers, including CentraState Medical Center, an acute-care medical center licensed for more than 270 beds, and Health Awareness Center, a community health and wellness resource providing education and fitness programs for adults and children. Also part of the network are Family Medicine Center, a freestanding office providing community health services and serving as home to CentraState Medical Center's family medicine residency program and CentraState Healthcare Foundation, CentraState Healthcare System s charitable division. The organization additionally comprises senior living communities, including Applewood Estate, a retirement community comprising more than 330 independent and assisted living and skilled nursing apartments, Monmouth Crossing that provides over 75 apartments and the Manor Care Center, a skilled nursing facility.
