General Info

The West Suburban Special Recreation Association provides recreational services for persons with disabilities. The association serves preschoolers, school age children, young adults and senior citizens with physical impairment and mental disabilities. It has partnerships with the Park District of Forest Park, Village of Elmwood Park and North Berwyn Park District. The West Suburban Special Recreation Association offers arts and culture, fitness, skill development and toy lending programs. It also organizes various games, community trips and day camps. The association serves individuals with Alzheimer's disease, autism, epilepsy and behavior difficulties. In addition, it offers special events and family activities. The association conducts programs in recreational facilities, pools, parks, fitness clubs, art studios, schools, museums and churches. The West Suburban Special Recreation Association is located in Franklin Park, Ill.
