This is the TOP NATIVE PLANT RESOURCE on the east coast. Nursery pre-orders also accepted, and there are more than 700 species and cultivars offered at two sales nurseries. LARGEST NATIVE PLANT SCHOOL IN AMERICA with courses in all six New England states, many at Garden in the Woods and Nasami Farm. Membership supports environmental health and also gives free admission to Garden in the Woods and a priority seed order period. Ecologically produced wildflower seeds (and trees, shrubs, vines, and also fern spores) are sold January-March. Trails and retail nursery open April-October. Also check out the Society's Nasami Farm and Sanctuary in Whately, MA. Don't miss a walk in the botanic garden, and the Society's exhibits. July 12-October 31, 2008 BIG BUGS Sculptures and web-of-life extravaganza charm families and nature lovers daily 9-7. The Museum Store is open year-round-check for hours.
