Sam Moon Trading Company

Have gone often to Sam Moons, found what I needed and moved on. It seems they have a new thing, that really ruined my experience with them recently. I bought a big wide brim hat for the beach. As soon as my card cleared their machine, the cashier stamped a "Final Sale", across the price. It was only a $10 sale, but I should have stated right then and there to give me my money back since I had not left the store yet, if it was not returnable in case I decided to exchange it for a different color, There were no signs posted that all sales were final, the sales clerk never reference it, nor many any indication that it would not be returnable. I will probably go back to Sam Moons, but not to this one.

Everything is very cheap (but not too cheaply made). The array of items is dizzying, and they have everything from monogrammed bags to jewelry and hair pieces. As for the patrons who complain about the stroller parking, this place and every one of its locations is jam packed on Saturday, hence the safety measure. If you read, it says no strollers on Saturday. It doesn't kill you to hold onto your children or bring a friend to help you do that. People need not get so offended over the no stroller policy. You aren't being discriminated against- just your large stroller.

I believe it is discrimination for a discount retail store to not allow entrance based on your familial status. I drove a LONG distance Saturday morning to be at Sam Moon when it opened. When I came to the door a man stopped me and said I was not welcome in the store with a stroller. There was no "stroller parking" to safely store my stroller. I called to ask why this is policy and was told it's a safety reason. Where is the safety risk of a stroller other than it confines my children so that I can better keep watch over them so strangers can't steal them and they cannot touch store items or knock things over. I feel discriminated against since I am a mother of small children!

Oh yes!!!!!!! I dont know why I waited so long? Make it a Girl's day out ...or a Mommy daughter day!!! Dont take your husband- they will be rushing you and will ruin your FUN! (lol) Enjoy the various types of Accesories! Leave Sam Moon with a WIDE array of trinkets and you dont even have to feel bad! I promise you will find the perfect Piece for the outfit you bought Years ago.....
