I'm now 2 weeks post op for Lasik. Best decision I ever made! I was kind of a difficult case, was born with bad eyesight & wore thick glasses at age 2 then finally switched to contacts 20 years ago...I am 53. Those were getting worse to wear for the past 4 years & battling dry eyes just wasn't worth it anymore so I got brave & did the surgery. I think Dr Poppell stayed up all night studying my case. I believe I was the longest laser he ever did & he did an over correction on purpose. He made the right decision because I don't even need readers! This is truly amazing!!! It's the weirdest experience EVER. You don't feel anything, no pain, no nothing after they put the numbing drops in. I wish I would have done it years ago but was too afraid. Dr Poppell & the techs who assisted were awesome! Even my hubby & sis in law were able to watch it all happen. Thanks y'all for getting me a new life....because that's what it feels like!

Dr. Poppell is the best. He is very caring as is all of his staff. He has taken care of my mother and my husband and have all had wonderful care.
