Dr. Norma Basinger Dr. Basinger received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. She completed her residency at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital in 1993. Dr. Basinger is an established physician and has been in private practice since 1993, practicing in gynecology and obstetrics since 1998. In 2004 Dr. Basinger expanded her practice to include the treatment of varicose veins. In 2009 she became the first Diplomat of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine in the state of Arkansas. In 2011 Dr. Basinger refocused her practice to the treatment of vein disorders, chronic venous ulcers, and aesthetic treatments. Dr.Basinger and her licensed ultrasound staff are IAC accredited for peripheral venous studies. Janet Newman Janet Newman is a Fort Smith native. She is a graduate of the Westark Nursing Program, and has been a practicing registered nurse for over 20 years. Janet has been working with Dr. Basinger since 2003, initially focusing on the treatment of spider veins. Janet is an Aesthetic Nurse Injector, starting in 2011 after being personally mentored by Therese Jenkins, PA, and continues to further her skills with personal, hands-on training to provide patients with the latest and most advanced techniques using Dermal Fillers, Neurotoxins and Skin Rejuvination. Past education for Facial Aesthetic Injections, Laser and Light treatments include: Allergan, Galderma, Merz, Palette Resources in Los Angeles, CA, Clearskin Laser Institute in Phoenix, AZ, Sciton and the Aesthetic Extender Symposium.
