Shoot Straight

I am part of a group of shooters from AR15.com that go there to shoot. The staff goes out of their way to make sure we are taken care of. the facilities are kept up & clean. The staff is friendly and helpful with anything one needs. When the owner of an establishment tells management to make sure we are taken care of, that says a lot about the character of EVERYONE there.

A few weeks ago I shot there and left the pack of targets I had bought. I realized it later and figured they were gone. I went back there and while getting rung up at the range counter mentioned I had to buy more targets because I left me. Clerk reaches over pulls out my targets and says "this one?" THEY SAVED MY TARGETS!!

When moving to the area, I was really concerned about finding a great place to shoot. Shoot Straight has well exceeded any expectations I had for a store and range serving the public. I shoot at their air conditioned range using my own ammo about once a month. I've never purchased a firearm there, so can't comment on their sales staff. They certainly have an incredible selection of firearms, though, and my kids always enjoy the mounted animal heads and atmosphere. We take a large group there on a regular basis from an AR-15 enthusiast site, and the store management and range staff have always been incredible accommodating. If you're looking for a safe air conditioned indoor range where you can take your family and friends - Shoot Straight is what you're looking for!

I purchased aRUG LCR and was very happy with my experenice with the employees. I had gone to another gun store on Fowler and after much to do and no help, I left. Seems that a woman couldn't possibly want to purchase a firearm. I was very pleased with everyone there, I will remain a loyal customer. Thank you for the easy and pleasant experience.

Love the gun because that's what my dad had all his life ! Grew up with the name an the guns ! But my dad is gone now so I am going to carry on the tradition , thanks shoot straight for helping me decide what's best for me . Gail

What a Super Nice Store. Shoot Straight has been great to us every time we have been in the store. Their prices are Much lower than the other local stores and Bass Pro. They have always greeted me when I walked in, and always have something that I am looking for.

Folks, this stores owner obviously puts…Folks, this stores owner obviously puts profit and money way above client satisfaction or any level of client service. I pre-paid for a CWC class ($75) and set a date.. Unfortunate, I had an accident that required surgery and missed the appointment. Do you think they would allow me to reschedule? Not a chance at this store.. They had my money and said it was forfeited.. I would have to pay another $75 and reschedule. When I asked why would you do that to a loyal customer.. their answer was "we have to protect the class.. You took a seat we could have sold to someone else" Do you believe their classes are a sellout everytime they hold them? I can tell you from my family that have gone thru them they have never been a sellout.I, my two brothers, 4 nephews and 22 other family members traded at their store.. Not anymore. That $75 rip off policy cost them several thousands in future sales..Here is a cut and paste from their competitors right down the street...Fowler Firearms and Gun Range offers a concealed weapon class every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 6:30 p.m. every Saturday at 5:00pm, and every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Cost $69.95 + tax per person and takes about and hour. These are walk in classes, no appointment required.Obviously, Shoot Straight didn't on this customer.. Incredibly arrogant and not customer friendly or focused.. I have been in business in Lee and Collier for over 40 years..with over 30 employees.. I couldn't even imagine having this kind of northeast attitude in such a small town.. Shame on you Shoot Straight.

These people are dishonest, they treat all the employees like poop and they have taken an Anti-Veteran stance on hiring. Just know who you are dealing with. When you go to buy a gun from them look for the "choke code" its right on all the labels they use, even the gunshow labels. I will how tell you what they mean, each letter in the arabic work Murabiton is assigned a number and xyz mean 0 ,m u r a b i t o n 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 xyz000so if it says "choke: muxx" that means $1200, thats what they really paid for it.Don't get lied to again.

This is by far the nicest place in town with the best service.I have bought several guns and the service is exceptional. Good prices too.

I was told they added this about a year ago. Good prices on ammo or bring your own. Everyone's been nice. It can get busy, so there may be a short wait for a lane. Lots to look at and a few stools to sit on.

I have a lot of respect for everyone that stands up for our second ammendent rights but I lost respect for Shoot Sraight today. Thei 33rd Anniversary Sale flier advertises Federal Premium ammo at real good prices, too good. Turns out that what they are selling is not Federal Premium ammo but bottom line Range and Target ammo. To make it worse they tried to tell me their was no difference. The old bait and switch just to get you in the store.

I won a membership for their gun range. From the moment I walked in I was treated as if I were a long time friend spending loads of money. ( not what I expected) . From the associate who helped fill out the forms to the guys in charge of the range. Everyone was accommodating even though I wasn't about to spend any money. If you have never shot at an indoor range I seriously suggest you try shoot straight in FT. Myers.

These people are knowledgable and competent. The prices are too high, but they will bargain with the price of used firearms. Main problem area is the range. There Are several lanes, but only about 23 yard maximum distance, and NO AIR CONDITIONING! This means that you will have sweat running into your eyes when shooting in the afternoon. Also, because they have to use large fans to keep people from dying from the heat, the targets dance around like a bunch of belly dancers on crack. Hard to get a bullseye...

I had not done any target shooting in a few years. I asked for assistance when I needed it & was always more than satisified with the help & instruction I received. I did have a problem with my gun jamming & found out that I had purchased the an ammo from another establishment that was of poor quality. Shoot Straight explained the correct ammo for the gun. It didn't jam again.

Shoot Straight in Ft Myers Florida is the real deal. The staff is awesome. Very helpfull and patient. Great facility from inventory to accessories to a shooting range. I've purchased three handguns this year so far and I use the range on a regular basis. I do some research on line then go to the guys and gals at SS to ask questions and get hands on answers. SS is my store.

I was looking for a particular pistol that comes in a dozen different versions and had called several local gunships asking if they had any of them. Only one shop had a couple in stock but neither was a model that I was hoping to get. Then I called Shoot Straight in Fort Myers and was told that they had at least ten different versions of this pistol. They are open much later than the other shops so at 8:30 PM I walked in and bought the exact gun I had been wanting.I haven't used the gun range yet, but have to wonder why so many people are trashing this place for not having AC in the range. If some dirtbag tries to rob you on a typical Florida summer day you're not going to have AC when you blow his head off, so you'd show much greater intelligence if practice for those conditions.

I would never go to shoot straight again. In order to shoot 50, 9mm rounds and rent a gun it cost me 65 dollars. The gun jammed every second shot, and it was a piece of garbage. It was hot as hell and there was terrible service. Left there and went to fowler gun range shot five guns, and 200 rounds for 45 bucks. great service great guns at fowler. Dont waste you time and money at shoot straight.

While it isa bummer that there is no A/C, it's nice to go somewhere that doesn't look down their nose at you, has a happy staff and friendly environment. I won't name any names, but some of the other establishments in town had really unwelcoming environments and elitist attitudes. While Shoot Straight isn't perfect (no A/C on the range does get hot) at least I know what I'm walking into. I don't want to have to go all the way up to the Webb just to squeeze off a few rounds and I don't want to be treated like an outsider when I'm patronizing someone's business, so these guys are all right by me!
