Bubbles N' Bows Doggie Salon

Truly an awful experience at Bubbles and Bows Doggie Salon. I believe the young groomers name was Taylor-- This groomer became defensive when I indicated I tried to get most of the mats out of my dog's hair to make grooming easier. She insisted that my dog had "dangerous" mats on her foot and would need to be shaved. She harped about how dogs have webbed feet and that as a groomer she knows what's best for dogs. I responded that I would take care of my dogs feet myself and not to shave her. She continued her rant about how grooming is her profession and that she doesn't hurt dogs. It was especially odd that she kept carping about loving dogs and not hurting them because I never said anything about hurting dogs, I just said not to shave her. Methinks she doth protest too much. Furthermore, after I returned home, I removed this "dangerous" mat in 45 seconds with my dematting tool. Taylor is obviously intensely insecure. She's also incompetent or downright lazy to insist on shaving a dog when the mat took a whopping 45 seconds to remove. Finally, not only was I uncomfortable about this groomers defensive and unnecessary posturing, but my dog was shaking and resisted when the groomer tried to take her from me. I would NOT recommend this groomer to my worst enemy, ever.
