Leisure Living

My dad was there for a few months. I had to travel for 2 months and when I got back, he was no longer walking, eating by himself nor going to the toilet by himself. Had deteriorated to practically a vegetable state in two months. They were treating him for a condition, which was just this side of bedsores. One only gets in this state from sitting in one place too, too many hours, day after day. We found out he had fallen because an ambulance bill was posted to our home. No one at Leisure Living had told us anything. I asked to see his doctor immediately and to have him sent to the hospital for evaluation. He was essentially in coma by that time. He was diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer and his blood volumn was one quart low. His stool was black. He was in a daze and no one at Leisure Living thought about calling in a doctor... Leisure Living is totally unprepared to give people a healthy living experience and should be placed in a category with a name like "assisted dying" facility. I called on the State of Florida to investigate. They did not evaluate anything I asked them to and finalized their report saying Leisure Living was not doing anything illegal. We now have Dad at Azalea Gardens in Hollywood, FL, totally recovered and active.
