Legends Barbershop

I have been coming to this barber shop for 11 years. This place was and is a blessing. To find a shop that can cut anyone's hair regardless of gender and ethnicity this far west in Broward, much less in Davie,it is amazing. My favorite thing is that I do not have to sit in any particular chair. I have my favorites, but the truth is...everyone in this shop is talented and can cut. I don't like to wait, so first available chair is mine and I'm never disappointed.

I have never gotten a cut that was less than great. I even change it up from fades, to even, high or low. Beard grooming with a straight razor or lining up bushy eyebrows - it doesn't matter; I've always walked out with a good looking cut.

Highly recommended this shop (unless your dominant girlfriend is forcing you to clean up and to lose your grunge look)

That's not the reaction that you want after a haircut but that is what I have had to endure since May when my now ex decided to play "make-over" queen and took me to Legends for "a trim, only and inch."



When it was my turn to sit in the first chair to the right, I said very clearly that I only wanted a trim of around and inch.



For some reason he turned my chair to face the front of the store and it seems like he didn't want me to see the mirror while he was cutting. I kept asking him to turn me to face the mirror and he would say "uh huh" and just kept cutting.

About half way into it my girlfriend said "It's a little short" I was sick. I got up and saw about 10 inches of my hair on the road. I was in shock.



He was obviously in training so not only was it nightmarish short, it was shorter on the right side with uneven spikes all around. It is the worst haircut I have ever seen or had.



I have had NOTHING to do with that "make-over" queen wannabe who paid $33 dollars and tipped him $5. They BOTH conned me and that was the most unprofessional behavior that I have ever witnessed from a "barber." I don't care about the story of the barber shop, I care about the quality of their skills and professionalism and they have neither.



I am a music teacher and I have been having to warn my clients from that place so whatever he got from that extra $5 tip, if he let my ex bribe him with $5 to butcher my hair like that, then those "barbers" shouldn't be trusted with scissors. I found out that' my ex had been taking my 5 year old son' there and that explains why his haircuts have been so bad.



It was clearly unprofessional to ignore my clear instructions and to conceal what he was doing with MY hair. I don't know if he was just incompetent or corruptly made a deal with my ex and it doesn't matter. The barber was wrong and Legends is just as responsible. This is not just a bad movie or a bad meal or slow service. It will take me somewhere between a year and a year and half to get back what was stolen from me.



Make-over wanabees, leave it to the idiots on TV or don’t complain when someone dumps you for being a control freak idiot.
