Awesome staff, awesome office and customer service

When updating 3 crowns, I was persuaded by Dr. John to go “tip to tip”, meaning I had 3 perfectly healthy white teeth shaved down so he could crown and veneer them in order to obtain consistency with color across my 6 upper front teeth (and of course charge me considerably more for doing so). I’ve since learnt that this was totally unnecessary, good dentists never file down a perfectly healthy tooth and can work wonders with color matching.

JJ Dental also removed a metal post that was put in while living in Africa 10 years ago to treat a minor infection in my upper front tooth, but rather than replacing it with a fiber post as I assumed it would (this has been the industry standard for front teeth for many years), it was replaced with another metal post. Nowadays dentists do not use metal posts in front teeth because they leave the patient with a faint black line across the gum and dark discoloration to the crown (remember front teeth are thinner than molars and need to be slightly translucent to achieve a realistic look). Sadly, because I’ve had the post forcibly removed, removing it again to replace it with a fiber post is too risky.

During my crown fitting I became upset that the 4 front crowns were bulky, protruding and not realistic. His response was an ultimatum, either I go with the thick, protruding crowns or I go with normal crowns and have one darker front tooth. “You choose” he said leaning over me with an angry face and intimidating tone. I became choked up and his assistant stepped in and squeezed my hand (clearly even she was disgusted by his behavior) and he left the room while she consoled me. After a few conversations the following week I was offered a full refund for the crown materials and I found another local dentist who gave me a considerably better finish.

I rarely post online reviews and I’ve never posted a negative review, but after receiving 50+ emails from JJ Dental over the past 18 months encouraging me to do so, I thought I would.

Not only does JJ Dental deliver top-notch service but they also have outstanding employees that are the best in the industry. They are truly there to provide benefit for you and will always recommend what is best for each patient. It is a family environment at JJ Dental and I could not recommend them enough!

I can't tell how pleased I am with JJ Dental on Commercial Blvd. All the staff love their jobs and it shows. Dr Cook put together a plan for a whole mouth restoration for me at incredible price. Dr Cook, Fifi, Latecia and the rest of the staff are so welcoming, empathetic attentive, and understanding. I have a very powerful bite, so I broke my temporary crowns at lest twice a week. They were always able to fix me up the following morning if not the same day. Fifi even came in on here day off [Sunday of all days.} to patch me up. Fast forward a couple of months and all my permanent crowns have been placed.
I now have a movie star smile that I never once dreamed I would have. With their quote coming in roughly $20,000 less than my previous dentist and tmanyfinancing option available, almost anyone can qualify. So, If you need some minor or a complete set porcelain and zirconium crown, this where you should be. Don't be scared of going to the dentist. Bite the bullet and try the most amazing team anywhere. Tell then Chris sent you and get even better treatment.[If that's even possible.] My only wish I to show you what a beautiful smile they gave me. I'm now full of so much confidence and I owe it all to them. Run, don't walk to JJ dental.

I have been a patient here for a couple of years and have had a great experience. The office is clean and the staff is friendly. Anthony is my hygienist and he is super detailed and personable. the doctors I have seen have all been very professional and approachable - I love everything about JJ dental!

I went to JJ Dental for the first time about 5 months ago for teeth cleaning. The facility is very clean and modern. The staff is super friendly, and the cleaning was gentle and thorough.

And then they have the three French bulldogs that adds the cherry on top.

I had the best experience on my first visit to JJ Dental. I was recommended by an acquaintance and being that their downtown location is only 5 mins away from my home, I made an appointment right away. Reception was very friendly over the phone and in person.

When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by 3 French Bulldogs, which was the best surprise because I have a French Bulldog at home.

My Hygienist and Dr. DeStefon were both great.

I had my implant done in New Zealand and crown was the only work left. I had to move to Miami, Florida in May and I approached so many dental places and JJ dental at Fort Lauderdale branch, gave me the specific cost involved. Rest of the dental places just wanted to add cost after cost, which was depressing. JJ dental team did a wonderful work and gave me my smile back.
