        Overall

        Dealt with David Pickering where we signed an agreement to purchase a home on 2/2/16 with a contingency of getting the home inspected on 2/3/16. We paid a non refundable fee of $590 for the inspection scheduled for 1:30pm on 2/3/16. On 2/3/16 at 11:15am we received a call from Pickering apologizing that the home was not available for sale and he would reimburse us for the inspection fee. After several e mails and numerous voice mails we received a check for $300 and not the $590 that was agreed upon. Numerous voice mails were left and several e mails were sent. We never heard from him again. We also notified Century 21 corporate who stated the owner of the franchise would contact us directly to resolve this matter. Never heard from Anita Hansen either. Think twice as this could certainly happen to you as well. Pickering was the listing agent for the house!
