I wanted to buy a used golf cart so I went toBROWARD ELECTRIC CAR & EQUIPMENT CO. thinking that they were a reputable company. They charged my American Express $3,350. for the purchased golf cart. Three days later they call me back to try charging taxes on the already paid $3,350, alleging that the transaction was not taxed. I ended up canceling the transaction with my credit card company, rather than dealing with such company....



Be careful, Remember their name BROWARD ELECTRIC CAR & EQUIPMENT they will do anything to get additional money after the fact. They even tried to charge me a 2% for convenience fee or transaction fee which is illegal in the state of Florida... I rather not deal with this type of companies...... Sorry if I am going to have this kind of issues when purchasing something, I do not want to know what is going to happen when I need to service the equipment........ Very disappointed with the Owner and his daughter for the way they handled my business... very poor customer service

I have recently purchased a 4 passenger golf car from broward electric and have not had any problems. I loved the customer service. Joaquin the sales manager provided great advise and helped me pick the correct golf car for my needs. Please if you are thinking of buying from broward electric don't look any further THIS IS THE PLACE!

I have been shopping around for a golf car for about 2 months. I have gone to Advantage, Dade and even been up to Allstar. Nobody could be more competitive in prices and quality then Broward electric. They helped me fit into my budget and the car looked beautiful. My Daughter loves the car and all her friends ride around all day "To School And Back". Trust me i dont waste money on gas and school is just 1 mile away. Thank You guys for the great job and hope to buy another one within the next year.

I have a 1993 Marathon old little rust bucket. I was having problems with it not going anywhere, Well i looked around to see what it might be or cost me, i spoke to someone in Broward electric cart and they told me bring it in or we could come out and we can diagnose what the problem is. Mind you i really dont know much about these Golf carts so i ask them to come out. The very next morning they were here he took a look at it and determined it was 2 batteries and something else. Within an Hour my car was running and holding up good. Great service and attention to me and my car i would recommend Broward electric car for all my repairs and my New Future one.



Overall the price was great and my down time was almost nothing, Family owned business you cant go wrong with this economy.
