American Eagle Movers

American Eagle Movers did my familys move for the second time in the last 4 years and we will eventually hire them again when needed if this job plans on moving us again. I liked these movers even better than the last ones two years ago when we moved from New york to florida. This time we did a move from Hollywood to Boca. We have a 3 bedroom houose and it went well. good job.

We had AEM do a local move for us in July 2010. The move went very poorly to say the least. The three man crew was unprofessional, damaged several pieces of wood furniture (which was not covered by thier insurane company since it was not "major damage") and worked extremely slowly. This caused an unexpectedly large bill since it was an hourly move. When I called the company to complain, I was told to expect a call back from management or the owner of the company to discuss my concerns. After several left messages over the last 2 months, I have yet to receive a return courtesy call. This is surprising for a family owned business with a history in our community like thiers. I would not recommend this company to anyone. However, if you do choose to go with them, please do yourself a favor and ask them to come out to your home first to give you a binding quote, so you don't get stuck with a huge invoice when thier guys do not work efficiently like I did.
