Uncle Al's Quick Lube & Wash

I usually do my own oil change ect.. ED AND THE CREW ARE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! super service and treat you like family,excellent prices on Doing maintenance stuff. I Will ABSOLUTELY keep going back to see ED,SHELBY,and the other crew. They go WAY above and beyond!

Love this place.. I live in St. CLAIR and I always drive to uncle Al's Fort Gratiot for my car service. Can't trust anyone else. This place makes me feel like family. I love how they offer me a drink while waiting for my car to be done. Even when something is wrong with my car, whoever is working on my car shows me the problem step by step, the cause of it, and they make sure I understand what their doing. Can't find any other place that explain things this clear. Thanks Ed (manager) for my tire rotation! Thank you for making me feel like family. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I have used this car wash for each of our cars and have both had BAD experiences. First off, when I called the phone # listed it was actually a FAX machine. It was 7:30pm so maybe they were closed but I'd think it would at least go to a voicemail.



Anyway, on separate occasions we've each gone thru the car wash and came out the other end with dirt and bird poop still stuck to our vehicle. On a positive note, they did let us go back thru for a second wash for free. However, you may wind up with damage to your vehicle worse than if you'd just kept the dirt on. And I'm not talking about damage from the actual automated car wash, I'm talking about the guy that uses the pole brush to brush your grill, windshield, and rear of the car.



It's almost always the same guy and he is so careless that TWICE now he has hit the vehicle with the metal pole and not the soft brush end. The first time it didn't cause any damage but today I went thru and he did it again and caused paint to chip off the top of the passenger door. I heard it hit but didn't check it til I left and was at a different store. I should've just went back but figured I'd call and now can't get thru!



All the guy tries to do is upsale you when you first pull in to get you to pay for a more expensive wash and then he does a careless job! I'll be following up tomorrow with a manager if I can get thru by phone otherwise I will be headed back up there tomorrow! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
