        "Board-certified surgeon Dr. Charles Bellows – a former professor and chief of general surgery at Tulane University and the University of New Mexico – has made delivering exceptional patient care the driving priority of his career. “I enjoy helping my patients,” says Bellows. “Patients come in with pain, restless legs, heaviness, and fatigue. We aren’t treating cosmetic issues at United Vein Centers. We are treating venous insufficiency and the real health impacts it causes.” Both a gifted researcher and skilled surgeon, Bellows’ work has been published in more than 80 papers and seven books. He also formerly served as the editor-in-chief of the medical journal Mini-invasive Surgery. At Bellows’ UVC practice in Ft. Collins, Colorado, vein treatments – including ablations and sclerotherapy – are tailored to each individual patient’s needs. “When a patient walks into our clinic, we want them to feel comfortable and at home,” he says. “We try to deliver the best possible patient care.”"

        Dr. Bellows was in his element. He made me feel comfortable.

        I didn’t know what to expect, but the Doctor and one of his assistance, put me at ease. On my next visit, I now know what to expect.
