Overall

This company installed my AC when my house was built. I have been in my house for a little over a year. My AC has broke over 5 times!!! AC and heating just wont click on. They have been very helpful thus far in coming out to fix it. It is now broken again, and have called several times and left a message and they will not return my call. Terrible business, call someone else. Its very clear these people have no idea what they are doing. Now I have to call someone else and pay money for something that should not be broken in the first place.

Overall
No good

You may have noticed that this is my second bad review. Allow me to explain.

This company installed my ac when my house was built. For the first few years I had no problems, but today makes the 4th time my ac has broken in 3 years. When my ac wasn't cooling like it should I called for service. When the tech came out he said I was low on freon. I asked if there was a leak and he said no. (I didn't ask where the freon went, I figured he knew what he was doing). The following year my ac again was not cooling properly and the pan was filling with water and water leaked out of part of the ac into my ceiling causing damage. I called 4 times before some came out. The tech put more freon and fixed and unclogged a broken drain line. Also, he removed the tee by which you unclog the drain line thus rendering the line un-unclog-able. So now it's summer time this year, guess who's ac ain't working. That's right, this guys'. So I call one hour ac, they come out and find a freon leak. (American heating and cooling said there was no leak) Said it's probably been that way for as long as I've been losing freon. So they fill it up with freon and tell me I need a new evaporator coil because that's where it's leaking from. So I wait a few weeks cause I don't just have $1700 in a shoebox and I have to go out of town for training. I figured I would get this fixed before the end of July. Anyway so today I'm eating dinner with my wife and I hear some dripping. Remember that drain line American "fixed"? Well now it's clogged AND the clean out is removed. There is no way for me to unclog it and stop the ac from leaking water onto my ceiling without shutting the ac off. Thanks American heating and cooling for "fixing" my drain line. Now I have more ceiling damage and it's hot as hell in my house.

So now I'm laying in bed, coverd by just the sheets in a 80 degree house with my wife and 10 month old. Thanks american heating and cooling.

So tomorrow I'm calling the other ac company to fix my ac and unclog and fix the drain lines.

Did I mention the drain line from the pan wasn't even sealed and that water is leaking from the connection. That's right, American ac and hearing couldn't even properly install PVC pipe onto a sheet metal pan.

In summation, if you need a new AC or need yours fixed, I'd recommend not using american heating and cooling.
