Stay away! I am astounded by the glowing reviews I have read about the Flemington, N.J. office.
First, I don't care to be addressed, by children, by my first name. That undesired level of familiarity indicates a lack of training by management; not an uncommon occurrence these days.
Second, I had a crown installed by a competent female dentist. Then, an unpleasant male dentist followed up with recommendations for additional work, and their cost. I have since received other, better advice, much better cost estimates, and from far more pleasant sources.
I paid a co-pay at the time, and was advised that Brighter Dental would take care of all insurance considerations, as advertised on their publicly posted website. to whit:
"BRIGHTER DENTAL CARE has arranged to accept most major dental insurances offered in our area. As a courtesy to our patients, we will gladly file all insurance forms for you. Payment of deductibles and co-payments are expected when services are rendered." These were paid at the time of the visit, by demand.
There was no indication that there would be any additional payments due. Yet I have received numerous dunning notices via mail, and I am now receiving harassing telephone calls from 609-279-9300, advising me that my "account" will be sent to an attorney if I have not paid Brighter Dental $35 by this afternoon.
Upon receiving the first notices via mail I responded via telephone and requested that I be advised, in writing, of the nature of this charge. I was advised that it was a charge that my insurance carrier failed to pay. As this occurred months after the service was performed I questioned the legitimacy of the charge. My questions were never answered, the nature of the charge was never explained, and nothing was ever presented to me in writing regarding the charge. Now it's a fight.
I will never avail myself of their services again.

This was my worst experience I have ever had with a dentist. Not only incompetent dentist but also receptionist/billing. They have too many specialists that are involved in a treatment of one tooth. I was initially treated by a general dentist that decided that I will need root canal and a crown but couldn't give me any details because he is not specializing in root canals or crowns. Then the other specialists did root canal and sent me to another specialist that did the temporary crown. In the meantime the second dentist came back to the third one and said that unfortunately the x-ray shows that the root canal was only partially done and the absess is not going to heal, and I need tooth extraction. So, I didn't need the temporary crown that cost me $200 because they were going to extract the tooth anyway. This place is a factory, money making machine that don't care about you they are just serving you with bills and list of procedures you will need but nobody ever discussed them with you. They charged me upfront $650 and when it appeared I don't need all the procedures related to crown, they refused to give the money back to me. Now they are delaying processing my claim with insurance company for 4 months already. Insurance company needs explanation on "partial root canal" but the dentis is not in a hurry to provide this info. Why would they, they have my money that they are holding. The most I will owe them is $80 -$100 but it so much better to hold my $650.
The receptionist and the billing person were very rude, they didn't return my calls or e-mails.
I went for a second opinion and found out that if you have tooth absess and root canal is done, the dentist can't close the canal without letting absess to heal. They did this to my tooth. I would never recommend this dentist (Flemington location) to anybody. think twice before you go there.

Yesterday I broke my front tooth I When I got to the office the dentist took an x-ray and then came in two seconds later with a very large estimate on the repair. All she mentioned was a temporary crown Possibly a root canal and then permanent. I had the piece of broken tooth with me, she mentioned nothing about bonding, and I had no idea they could do such a thing. She told me that they could squeeze me in between dentures on Friday afternoon. She also told me that when I got there on Friday I should plan to be waiting a very long time. Because they were fitting me in between other appointments. I called another dentist on my way home. They were open, and took me right away. No mention of putting a cap on it, from the first start he bonded the tooth and it looks good. Brighter dental has been my dentist for about 2 years None of the dentists impress me at all. Stay away from this place, I wish I could write more but it won't let me. I have other horror stories
