Often times small practices like this aren’t taken serious, and have a smaller, niche’ client base. So know they’re going to do whatever possible to move money from your pocket to theirs.

Unfortunately I won’t be a patient here anymore despite the wonderful care of Dr. Cohen, because of a few members of the front office staff, namely Samantha.

I reached out with a perfectly honest, logical, and concise reason as to how the miscommunication happened, and though it was clearly scheduling’s fault, I was kind. She was not, her money driven response was to seek out a loop hole, and given the advantage of already haven taken my money insisted on being unprofessional and aggressive. This is not good patient care!
If I were wrong, I’d have not liked it, but I’d at least understand the $75 charge. But to wrongfully get charged, and then get disrespected is more “patient care” than I’m willing to take.
