Huzzy's Car Wash

My elderly father recently brought his Ford Escape to Huzzy's to have the interior cleaned using a giftcard somebody bought him for Christmas. First, he was given the runaround when it came to scheduling the service. Huzzy's refused to accept his car unless he brought it in right as the shop opened. Mind you, he would have been perfectly willing to bring the car later in the afternoon and leave it there until the next day but this wasn't offered as an option until I got on the phone and spoke forcefully on his behalf. It's absurd that a company that's presumably open for business during a predetermined set of business hours wouldn't be able to accommodate customers during anything other than a 15-30 minute window at the most inconvenient time imaginable. Please note that he was not demanding same day or next day work. He attempted to make an appointment with more than a weeks advanced notice--Huzzy's simply refused to accept his business unless he brought in his car at a very specific time--regardless of notice/appointment. I suspect this is due to Huzzy's not wanting to honor his gift certificate.

After a couple weeks of getting the run around he finally managed to get them to detail his car. When he got it back there's an enormous tear in the rear seat where the upholstery unzips (I've uploaded a photo). There's nearly two feet of rip around the edge of the rear seat that was not there prior to my father bringing his car to Huzzy's.

My father called to bring this up to them but was unable to get the owner on the phone to acknowledge or discuss the issue. He was told the owner wasn't there but that he'd call him back. A week went by with no call back. I call back on his behalf and I'm told the same thing. Another week goes by and still no call from the owner. I just called again today and was told the same thing. We're going on about three weeks and it appears the owner is choosing to ignore the problem.

Had slotted detailing done. For 25$. They did more then what I was expecting, they did a great job , will be going back for a bigger detail this spring!!!! Thanks HCW

I paid $160 for a detail job on my van. It was a terrible job. Did not clean the wheel wells, the inner fenders not cleaned, ash trays not cleaned, Tree sap still on parts of the exterior, water inside of sliding door, No amoral on the plastic or rubber parts, no tire shine on tires and much more that should have been done, LOUSY< LOUSY JOB!!!! These guys do not know what "detailing" means. I'm am not sure if it was actually hand waxed. Would not recommend.
