As a small facility, staff members can ensure that you are not a room number or a diagnosis, but a member of our community. Our campus also includes townhomes and retirement apartments for independent living. Nutritious meals are enjoyed by those in our skilled nursing center as well as by delivery arrangements to these nearby independent living areas. Our country campus overlooks a nearby lake. A favorite spot for many is the screened porch near our waterfall and pond. On warm afternoons, you can watch the robins take a bath or the dragonflies bob above the water lilies. I have been to the Firth Retirement Center and felt that the rooms were small and the place could have been cleaner. I have had some distant relatives that lived there that were not that impressed either. Please do your research in the area because their are other facilities around Firth.
This is a nice small facility that really gets to know the people living there. There is a fish pond out front with a waterfall next to the screened in porch which is a great place to sit in nice weather. They have done some remodeling recently too. Definitely worth checking it out if you need to help someone find a place to stay or if you need a place to stay.
