Our staff is quality driven and dedicated to providing the best eye care available. Meet the proprietors Dr. Duane Wires Dr. Wires started his Optometric career in 1984 after purchasing the Village Vision Center in Ada Ohio. Shortly after moving to Ada, Dr. Wires met Kim Cousineau (his future wife). Kim coincidently was starting her Optical career in the frame industry by representing a French eyewear manufacture. After a long courtship Kim and Dr. Wires got married and Kim took over operations of the practice and together they have since strived to provide each patient with the highest quality of vision care and remain at the forefront in regard to service, products and technology. In 2006 Eyes on Main was created to provide the people of the Findlay Area an additional choice when selecting an eye care professional. Dr and Kim Wires have been Findlay residents for 21 years and felt that Findlay was missing this critical choice. The goal at Eyes on Main is to provide excellence in eye care in an atmosphere that is unique and upbeat. The concept includes people leaving the office happier, more informed and inspired than when they arrived. “I think we have been successful in accomplishing this on a daily basis, and on behalf of my wife and myself; would like to sincerely thank our patients for this opportunity.”

        I came to Eyes On Main and Dr. Wires because I was unhappy with my last doctor. My friends all went to Dr. Wires and said their office was off the charts in technology. My neighbor having some of nicest glasses didn't hurt either. When i arrived I was immediately greeted by the receptionist Kristy. I hate it when you go to an office and feel like you are bothering the staff by being there. Kristy was friendly and got me all set up. the exam was just what my friends said, WOW!! I knew I had something in the back of my eye the other doctor was watching , and Dr. Wires showed it to me. I am now sending all my friends to Dr. Wires.

        Just wanted to say thank you D...

        Just wanted to say thank you Dr. Wires!! I was working in my basement wood shop last weekend and got a piece of saw dust in my eye, "It was killing me." I call Dr. Wires and he came in after hours and removed it for me. I was so glad I didn't have to go to the emergency room.

        Excellent Service and Care

        Dr. Wires and his staff provide the best care and service I have ever experienced. The doctor took extra time to explain why my eyes are so dry and why my current contact lenses are not the best for me. Dr. Wires fit me in a new type of contact that is better if you have dry eyes. It even came in a bifocal design. I have not seen or felt so good in my contact lenses in years. As to the other review I do not agree. The staff was very helpful and my insurance was gladly accepted.

        What a pleasant surprise I had on my first visit to Dr. Wires office at Eyes On Main. It started when I first walked into his office. It is unlike any Optometrist office I have ever seen, its like walking into a beautiful home .... it two stories tall. The staff greeted me and immediately took care of my needs. When I met the doctor I was impressed not only with his quality of care, but also the equipment they have. It is the most high tech eye exam equipment I ever been examined and most through exam I have ever had. The optical experience was wonderful, Kim the doctors wife really knows her business. She fit me in the coolest glasses I have ever owned!! I am telling all my friends to go and see them. Thank you Eyes On Main!!!
