Great Doctor's

I have four children 14,9,7,and 6. I have been going to this office and The one Located on Main st. for the past 14 years, I have had nothing but great visits, when I needed to schedule appointment right then they would try and get me in that day and if not it was the next day,Please understand there doctors and they see a lot of children and they do get booked, When my daughter had a ear infection they didn't have a space open but said they could work her in and they did, When i called after hours when my youngest son was sick they called me right back, very caring Doctors.They go above and beyond to help and care for my children..

I am the mother of three children 10, 7, and 2. Due to the lack of doctors in my area I continued to use this office after multiple incidents. I finally made the decisions my children would be taken care of much better in the hands of base doctors (military). The first issue that it came across was the scheduling. My daughters well baby check ups got so behind because they could only schedule so many of those types of apts they stated so when he shots were due one month they wouldn't be able to get her in for TWO months later! Once I drove 45 minutes to go to an apt with my son and when I arrived they said they were unable to see me and because my doctor went out of the country and they said they tried to call me. I showed her right then and there a voicemail on my phone where they called not even 24 hours before then to CONFIRM my appointment. The only thing they did was say sorry. Another appointment my son was sick and they couldn't get me in so I had to call the other office to be seen. When I arrived and signed in they said they couldn't see my son that day because that was his first time being seen and his apt was with a nurse practitioner. First time patients must be seen by an actual doctor. (They did not tell me this when I scheduled the apt) and at that point my other two children had been multiple times. My final straw was when my son became very ill. He cried about his stomach one afternoon and when he was not better the next morning I called them. They said it was probably just a stomach virus and they couldn't get me in until four days later! I waited it out that day but by the next morning I knew it was more than that. I called and they still couldn't get him in and suggested I call the other office. When I called the other office they could see us that day. When the doctor walked in she didn't even look at him yet and said it was probably just a stomach virus. After examining him she sent us to the hospital. My son 6 at the time had a ruptured appendix! He had to stay in the hospital a week! I have no faith in this office. They can never get you in, they do not listen to you, and the office staffs organization is a joke. I strongly suggest parents look else where for their children's sake!

The staff has been so unhelpful. They do not upload their data to FL Shots and it was near impossible to get documentation for the 3 vaccinations they administered. I paid a bill that my health spending account had covered and was not reimbursed. The billing associate sounded like she was falling asleep and offered no help at all. Needless to say, I will not bring my children back for service and do not recommend this office at all.

This is the second pediatrician I've been to and I've never been treated more like I was an idiot. I brought my son in for his third round of shots, and due to some error in the paperwork (and I'm a new mom, I'm just learning to make sure these people are doing their jobs when it comes to this so THAT is my fault) they recorded the shot round as only his second vaccination.



After simply stating that my concern that I didn't want him to receive too much vaccine since I knew he'd already had them, and that I would have it straightened out ASAP, the doctor went off the handle on me. Through the rest of the visit it was like she was explaining over and over how I should take care of my child. I was flabbergasted. I thought she was very rude, and It was extremely disappointing after hearing so many good things.
