Two Brothers Scrap Metal Inc

I had a scheduled appointment. They then called up after I made the appointment and changed it because they forgot that it was a holiday weekend. I was fine with it. I rescheduled for the next weekend, and they never showed up. I didn't even get a phone call saying that they weren't going to come. I ended up going with someone else.

DONT DO IT TO YOURSELF! They should be out of business and I hope very soon. The fist clue should be when you call. More than most likely it will be a person who knows or cares less about scrap metal. I'm sure that they are hiring out their work to anybody, and they never get the proper information. I told them I had a pool 15X30 with a half deck, the idiots sent 1 person and a small truck and scale. The driver said he'd be back in two days. Well he never came and when i called they said i wasn't due today. Then they called the driver and he said nobody was home.....Shady! Instead of an apology they tried to come back in 2 WEEKS ! LMAOOO. AS IF I WANTED THEM TO COME BACK. When i said never mind the lady on the other end said OK and just abruptly hung up.

I had a pick up schedule for the following day for a broken down boiler in pieces. Forty minutes after I scheduled the pick up 2 men show up at my door telling me they are here to pick up boiler. I also want to state it was not it a visible spot. I asked them if they were from the company and they said yes. I moved my car so they could drive the van towards the back and load up the boiler. They were about to leave and then I stopped them because I was waiting for my estimate (which now I am obviously suspicious). They said the scale was at the shop. I demanded they returned the boiler, which they did. They nervously slinked back to there van and drove off.



OK...I wasn't born yesterday. This was OBVIOUSLY an inside job. When I reported this incident the first time the women seemed a bit defensive and tried to brush me off. The second time a guy answered who was a lot nicer but totally dismissed the situation. I also wasn't surprised that the manager never called me back which I had requested.



I don't know what's creepier...the fact that two crooks show up at my door sent by someone from the company or that after I reported it to 2 workers there the both of them seemed like it was not a big deal.
