All American Van Lines

Had an excellent experience with the guys from All American Van Lines in a recent move from a 2 BR to a 2 BR. They packed our kitchen and artwork; we packed everything else--and then regretted not hiring them to do the whole thing. Not only did they pack up our stuff quickly and safely, they were really friendly and came in under the estimate for the job overall. Our other regret was not having used them in a previous move which went a little awful by another moving company. Moving is a nightmare, and not something I ever anticipate with joy. But I'd look forward to hiring guys from All American Van Lines again.

Nice guys, very careful with your property, professional, and quick. Their price is quite fair (I don't feel as though we got a 'deal' and I don't feel as though we overpaid). They just moved us today in Menlo Park and my wife and I highly recommend them.

By far the best moving experience in my life. The movers were professional, detail-oriented, but fast. I had All American van lines pack everything and move one town over. The packing went smoothly, and the move in was completely hassle free. Definitely will not worry about my next move...

Great! I moved a large 3 bedroom apartment. It was a difficult move with many stairs. My first estimate from another company was over $4000.

I cannot afford that. My neighbors had just used All American van lines and gave me their number. All American moved us for less than $1500. These guys worked hard!

No damage, everything fine.

Also, we were in a rush and I had to call on Labor Day weekend (expecting to leave a message on the machine). They answered the phones on the Saturday night of Labor Day weekend!! I sent an e-mail on Sunday and they answered it Sunday night. Get it?? Good service. Look no further.

The two men who showed up for my move were *amazing*! They took care of all my possessions (most of which was boxed, but there was also a huge sofa, etc). They asked me if I wanted them to wrap up the sofa to protect it, explaining they would charge me for tape if I said yes. I said yes -- it's a nice couch -- and the total charge for duct tape was less than $10 even though they used rolls of the stuff. They were super friendly, really pleasant to deal with, and did a fantastic and quick job. I've already recommended them to friends who have had an equally positive experience.

These guys helped us move from within New york this week and, to be short and sweet, were perfect. They showed up on time, moved our belongings quickly, were friendly and competent, did exactly what they said they would, and damaged nothing. On top of that, their price was completely reasonable and less than I expected to pay, despite the fact that I ended up with more items to move than I described for the estimate. I highly recommend using them and will use them again next time I move.

We moved a partial household from Farmingdale, NY to Silver Springs,. The movers came later on the day they were supposed to arrive than they said they would but as long as they came that day, I was fine with it. They did an excellent job, wrapping up the furniture and packing the truck. They worked hard the whole time. The furniture was delivered the day that they said they would even though they will not guarantee an arrival date. The communication with the sales person was prompt and efficient, as well as the dispatcher. There was a mistake on the weight that was originally used to determine the final price, but even though I had overpaid the agent movers in cash, they refunded the overpayment promptly. Christina was our sales person and she helped me with the problem and I am extremely happy with the results, not only of the problem resolution but the entire move that went exactly as planned.

We had a booking to move our stuff with All American Van Lines. The entire move went smoothly, they arrived in on time without having to call for additional directions and they were constantly working/moving. Post move everything was intact and no damage, beyond a nick or scrape here or there. It took longer than I'd expected, and thus was more expensive than I'd planned, but it came in under the original max budget and the guys were always on-the-go. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad. Thankyou guys!

No other moving company would have EVER spend the time and creativity it took to get my one-of-a-kind, absolutely huge reclaimed elm weighs a TON and cannot be disassembled dining room table in through a front doorway that measured 29 inches wide. 29 freakin inches.



Actually, after removing the door and trying every possible angle, it was clear the table was just not going to fit. Tears. (And no I'm not a total idiot, I really did measure the thing and thought with some creative angling it would go through. Not so.)



But WAIT-- what about through the garage next door, removing three doors, carrying it OVER my landlord's classic thunderbird, around the fence, onto my back patio and in through the back door? It fit, with one millimeter to spare. With no scratches. Unbelievable.



And, without the table problem, these three guys would have moved all of my not small amount of stuff in two hours. They rock.

All American Van Lines is really a good company. I don't even have any suggestions on how they could improve their services. I needed to move two homes into one and they got us set up with short notice and did everything they promised and more at a great price. I thank all the guys from sales staff,foreman and the moving crew. All of them were professional, nice, courteous and thoughtful. . My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad. All American Van Lines was recommended to us by a friend and after speaking up with the sales rep and having all my queries answered I decided and set up mind to move with them. The company provided us top notch service, moving my things from a 2 bedroom flat to a smaller apartment and then taking the rest to storage. The guys from the moving team were fast, professional and quite pleasant. One furniture piece was slightly damaged, and thehead of the sales rep team himself showed up the next day with his toolbox to make that furniture piece better as before! This was by far the least stressful move I've had in a long time and I'll be calling you again for the next move. Thanks All American Van Lines.

All American Van Lines deserves it excellent review, and quite frankly I don't understand the less than stellar reviews. They made everything easy, from the prompt response to my call, the quick in person estimate, to the quick and efficient packing and delivery. The price estimate was on target, they were on time, nothing was broken, nothing went missing, the 3 guys were extremely polite, helpful and patient when I decided to rearrange the furniture, twice. I can't recommend the company enough--I know I will be using them again.

We used All American Van Lines through recommendation of a friend. The guys showed up on time and were a pleasure to work with. They were very efficient in disassembling what was required, packaging what was still unpackaged, and moving all the boxes. Unfortunately, we had more stuff than they had thought, so we had to make 2 trips, and so our actual costs came in at almost double what we expected. Certainly one of the best experiences I have had with any service company.

This was my first time hiring movers and I was not disappointed with All American Van Lines. They were extremely professional and thorough.



I spoke to Henry on the phone and he gave me the most competitive price. On the day of the move, two movers showed up with a very large truck on time. They provide 2 wardrobe boxes for free, which was just enough for all of my clothes. They carefully wrapped my furniture & fragile pieces with plastic wrap and cardboard boxes if needed. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to haul my boxes to the truck and secure them safely using straps, etc. in the truck. I think they wanted to speed things up and asked another mover to join in mid-morning (which I of course didn't mind).



They efficiently unloaded the truck at my new apartment, set up my bed and dining table without being asked, and asked me where the pieces of furniture should be placed.



All in all, they were fantastic. I highly recommend them!

This is the first time I've ever used a moving company to move because I finally have enough stuff to justify it. I was thinking it would be very expensive and was prepared for it. Ronnie came by to do an estimate and estimated that it would cost $750. He said the guys would be at my old house at 8 am and be in the van on the way to the new place by 10 am. I thought, "Yeah, right, that's impossible!" Ronnie sent three men to my place to pack everything up and get it moved. They were there at 8 am on the dot. They packed up everything quickly, professionally, and perfectly!! And, they were in the van at 9:55 am! Everything was unpacked and in my new place before noon! And, they even had to completely break down my bed and build it back together again. These guys were fantastic! They were extremely professional, polite, courteous, and some of the hardest workers I've ever seen. The final cost came out to $725, only because I had some last minute stuff that wasn't boxed that they took care of for me. I was very impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the staff. Also, the office staff and Ronnie were very professional, very helpful, and always made sure that all questions were answered and all concerns were addressed. Highly recommended!!!!

Hiring All American Van Lines made moving a painless experience - On time and On budget. The crew showed up on time and worked tirelessly. Bob specially wrapped our oversize artwork. Bob showed up to check in and lent a hand by personally wrapping all our stemware ( there is a lot of it). Sam handled the entire kitchen by himself. Joseph focused on our books and furniture; he even wrapped the legs of my chairs and when I asked, they took extra special care of my designer sofa (yeah, I know, costly, but it is pretty terrific). They handled it all on time and ensured that everything made it into the truck just as it started to pour rain. We had to pick up one of the wardrobe boxes at their storage facility and it wasn't a problem. I'd hire them again definitely. Thanks again guys!

I moved in August with All American Van Lines they're STILL the best. I actually had one of the same guys on this move as I had in my past move when I had hired them which tells me something about the company! Nothing broken, everything quickly moved and unloaded. This was even a more complicated move, due to half my stuff going into storage, but they handled everything flawlessly. I still recommend them to anyone in the market who will definitely find a return on their investment. Thanks All American Van Lines they make everyones life so easier!

I had a tricky move from a large flat into a small apartment with a tiny elevator. I had tons of heavy boxes and a few pieces of heavy, delicate furniture. All American Van Lines were very prompt, very attentive, very careful, VERY efficient, and the two movers that served me were VERY easy on the eyes! The stress level of moving went WAY down once they got to work.

Almost makes me want to move again...well not really, but you get the idea.
