Mountain Top Motel

Stayed in this motel for a week. No handrails on stairs in rear. They used rubber rolled roofing to cover stairs and upstairs walkways to cover the rotting wood, it is like walking on ice. On the fourth day I slipped on the wet stairs and slid down on my back. Air condition water builds up and the rubber walkway is always wet. When I told the owner what happened she said " I'm sorry to hear about that." this place safety wise is very unsafe, especially for older people like myself. If your smart spend a few dollars more and stay in Hillsville, Va., or in Galax, Va. Also the TV only gets about 10 channels and that's if the TV even works. You pay $2.00 extra per day if you want maid service and they even want to be tipped after that, if you pay weeklly. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY SAFE
