Chevys Fresh Mex

My husband and I were driving through the Merrifield area at lunch time and noticed a nearby Chevy’s Fresh Mex. We stopped in and were pleasantly surprised with the fun atmosphere and lively staff. We opted to dine inside, but there were lots of al fresco tables available.
We were seated immediately and our server brought us chips and salsa right away. The salsa at Chevy’s is fantastic, flavorful without being too spicy, and the chips were warm.
I ordered the sizzling chicken fajita salad, which was prepared at the table. It was fun to watch and the resulting fresh flavors were incredible. The bits of avocado added a nice body to the salad and the dressing was delicious.
My husband ordered the fish tacos with a soft taco shell. The fish was grilled and he really liked the seasoning. He was quite pleased with his choice.
The restaurant is very clean and our server was excellent. We had a really fun and delicious meal!
We are already planning a return visit.

Chevy's has good food. It's not too expensive and it has a nice atmosphere. Plus, on your birthday (if you let them know, of course) you get a sombrero!
