City and State Towing

Zax was very helpful n polite n made me feel he cared for me as a customer I will definitely use his towing services if I ever need them again

Zax bent over backwards to help me out when I found myself broken down on I-95, a few miles from the SC border early on a Sunday morning. He took me to a motel several miles away in Lumberton, and picked me up Monday morning, for no extra charge. The mechanic took a bit longer than expected, but I got the car back late Monday afternoon and was able to drive the car the rest of the way to Florida, even though it still needed more serious repairs. (A valve was damaged as a result of a broken timing belt, resulting is one cylinder not working after the timing belt was replaced.) All together, including the towing, motel, repair, and addtional gas required to complete the trip (caused by the missing cylinder), it was still much cheaper than renting a U-Haul & tow dolly at weekend rates, which was why I contacted City & State in the first place. I happened to have the time to spare, so it just worked out nicely. I passed the day sitting in a booth at Zax's other business, a convenience store, and enjoyed the cast of characters who visited throughout the day. These are very nice folks, and very helpful.
