Fairfield Garden Center

They have a dual faces. When you buy their expensive plants they will show you their courtier face and when you return they treat you like a criminal. I returned two plants today after two weeks of purchase bacause my landscaper told me they are not deer resistant plant- weeping blue atlas cedar. They charged me 15 percent restocking fee. Which was not mentioned in the receipt and I was not told either. I paid $124 for each plant and when I purchased they told me these plants are deer resistant and if they have a warranty of one year. If plants die I can return them with in a year with receipt and tag only. When I returned, first the garden center person came and inspect the plant and very rudely tolde that this plant was taken out of container we can't take it back. The same guy was so friendly to me when two says ago I was in the nursery yo purchase more plants. When I argued with him the manager came and gave me an option of getting either the 100percent store credit or if I wantonly back then 15 percent stocking fee. This was ridiculous policy. I was not told about it and it was not mentioned in the receipt. I decided to get my money back with 15 percent loss. I will never do the business with them again nor I would recommend. I'm parsippany their is a to u garden car ter with half the prices of the same trees. Sales are final . But at least his policies are not deceiving like fairfield garden center nj.

My ultimate conclusion is fairfield have a deceiving return policy with very rude staff. They have a overprice good plant collection. It's not worth to do business with them.:(

They have two faces. One is when you buy things from them-smiley face. The other one is when you return things to them-bitchy face. They have very confusing return policy. When I try to return things to them, an old ugly woman with a bitchy face asked me three times if I understand what she said. I will never go that store again.

Its unfortunate that you are slamming the wrong business. Fairfield Garden Center happens to share the same parking lot but they are not related to the business that houses the Ice Caverns. I've had many pleasant experiences at the ice caverns with friends and their kids - we've made it an annual tradition before they temporarily went away and as soon as they came back - better than ever! AND, we've had many wonderful experiences shopping at the adjacent garden center where we traditionally always get our trees and wreaths. The Ice Caverns are always packed that time of year so they must be doing something right!
