        Dr. Dade had been a key member of National Spine and Pain Centers/StemCell ARTS since 1995. He joined our medical team after serving as an attending Physician at the University of Michigan Hospital System. An expert practitioner with interventional pain management techniques, Dr. Dade provides a mixture of conventional and complimentary medicine to help patients achieve significant pain relief without surgery and enables them to return to normal, active lifestyles. As a physiatrist with vast experience in Sports Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, Dr. Dade approaches pain by evaluating the whole person, not just the source of pain.         Dr. Dade and his staff provided great care. I completely understood the treatment options and the course of actions that were recommended. The treatments resulted in a significant decrease in my pain levels resulting from successful back fusion surgery which consequently caused the tendons and ligaments in my back to have to readjust, causing a lot of pain. I went from having constant pain and limitations on activities to having a significant reduction in pain allowing me to return to activities I was unable to perform prior to the injuries that required surgery.

        Dr Dade has managed to do what many other doctors could not do in dealing with my chronic back pain. Instead of spending my days at levels over 6 on the 1-10 scale he typically keeps me at a level 2-3.This is such a huge change that it allows me to do physical activity that was impossible or very hard to do before seeing him. He listens and goes over all possible treatments and takes the needed actions. If in the course of treatment things need to change he is quick to do so.
