The rudest people I ever met. I ran into someone who I assume was the owner and what a jackass! Do not give this guy your business!

I will never buy another thing from this store. I had a VIP Gift Card from this place and went in today and spent over $50.00 and the owner would not give me the Gift Bag.

The VIP GIFT CARD distinctly said that if you spent over $50 after all deductions that you are entitled to a Gift Bag. The owner would not give it to me stating that I bought promotional items and even though I spent $72.50 she would not honor the VIP GIFT CARD that she sent to me. That is just so wrong because there were other customers there that she gave the Gift Bag too that also bought promotional items. They are very rude and nasty people

This is my second bad experience in this store, so I felt I should let others know about how bad this place is...

The first time I was in this store, I was purchasing a card for a wedding - I chose a card and went to the register. The lady working was speaking on her cell phone (a personal conversation) and wouldn't even acknowledge me standing there in front if her. When she finally looked up, she held her hand out, took my card, but kept talking on the phone!! I did not know how much to pay her for the card, so I handed over my money, she made change, and still would not get off of the phone!! I was a little shocked by her customer service skills, and felt that I was inconveniencing her by shopping in the store.



The next time I went into the store, I asked for a price for a figurine behind a display case - the lady was rude and I felt like I was again inconveniencing her. She told me the price, and I was a bit shocked - it was twice the price of what they usually go for! I asked her if they were on sale, because sometimes stores inflate the price of things only to discount them, and she said "honey, these do not go on sale" but I knew that they were on sale at other stores. Then she tried to tell me that the price was going to go up soon, so I should buy it now at this lower price!! I left the store without buying anything. And this will be the last time I am shopping there.

I went shopping at this store for a maid of honor gift. The women in the store were less than knowledgable about gifts for a wedding. And when I ACCIDENTALLY knocked over a porcelain item because it was dangling over the edge of the display case, the owner made me pay for the item, despite the fact it was her poor maintenance of the store that led to the item falling from its shallow shelf. The woman was less than understanding and refused to let me leave without paying for this broken item. My advice is to NOT shop at this store because of the low quality service of its employees!

I am a Hallmark Rewards Cardholder and received a coupon from this store regarding their VIP event and a free $60 dollar gift with a $50 dollar purchase. My old Hallmark store in Edgewater closed and I thought this store, while a bit out of my way geogrpahically, was worth checking out, especially with my coupon. Before hand, I checked out the ratings and was flabbergasted by how low they were. I wanted to see if it was as bad as advertised. I walked in at around 10:00 and was looking at the Hallmark ornaments. I felt as though I was the only person in the store. No one asked me for help or even saw me in there. I picked out two ornaments totalling approximately 55 dollars and made my way to the cashier, who was shocked to see me in the store and said she did not realize anyone was in there. I presented my coupon to the cashier. She eyed it and then asked for my Rewards Card. No problem there. She then asked if I was interested in some of their special items. To be honest, I was interested in one. She was definitely trying to sell me on two itemsand I told her I usually buy items like those in a set (those Christmas music choirs that are released approximately every two weeks) and she replied well these will sellout fast (mind you, there were three shelves full of them). I promised her I would be back to buy the whole set and she rang me up. I thought she was a bit pushy trying to sell things, but that's what retail is about. Perhaps my experience would have been different if she knew I was in the store the entire time, but I cannot complain, as she did honor the coupon.

The last 3 experiences I have had at this store have been AWFUL. I go here because it is very close to my house. However, the minute I walk in the store I am harassed by the the woman that I assume is the owner. I tell her I don't need help, yet she stalks me around the store. She'll bring things up to show you, and gets highly offended and rude when you try to brush her off. The last time I went in, she was so insulting that I put my stuff down and walked out. This woman should NOT be in customer service. Pushy & RUDE!

Nasty, nasty, nasty people. Go anywhere else for your cards & gifts.

I was shopping in this Hallmark store recently when a customer came in, walked up to the cashier and was waiting on line. The younger of the cashiers stars yelling and screaming at the customer and the customer hadn't even opened their mouth! I thought to myself, "What the h*ll is going on? Is the cashier crazy?" Then the younger cashier started yelling at the old cashier. If I hadn't witnessed it I wouldn't believe it! I can't believe that anyone could get away with treating customers like this. This is really no way to do business. I was totally shocked at the cashier's behavior. Amazing that they are still in business.

I just left the store with 3 candles and 4 packages of thank you notes, The staff was quite helpfull to all of my needs!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are extremely rude and nasty. They treat customers worse than dirt. I called Hallmark corporate headquarters to complain about how I was treated there. I will NEVER set foot in this store again.



Funny, I have spent the last hour looking up reviews on this store and the few I have found have been negative like mine. Now all of a sudden there is a very favorable review posted right after mine. How obvious is it that the owner posted that one?
