Troost Roofing

We had a big, franchised roofing company lined up to do the work, but I got the feeling they wouldn't stand by the bid once they started. Some salesman did the estimate but I got the feeling he'd never done any roofing himself. And I didn't want to have to come up with more money once they started.So I asked around the neighborhood and found Troost. It's a small, local company that has been in business forever plus they specialize in roofs (not siding/windows/concrete/dog doors/basements). The owner came out and did the bid. His recommendations were great. He knew roofing, and the whole experience was great. I was very happy with Troost and will tell other neighbors about them. The roof looks great. The work was done on time, their quote was the price, and they were professional, knowledgeable, and neat. They did a superior job.

Troost was fast, professional, and easy to work with. The other roofing companies that kept knocking on our door had been in business a year and I wanted a company I could call two years down the road if I needed to follow up on the warranty. The owner was much more knowledgeable than anyone else I talked to and very low pressure. I didn't feel like I was working with a car salesman. I was tired of the other companies trying to get me to sign a contract the minute they walked in the door. It was nice dealing with the owner rather than a salesman. And the roof was perfect. The workmanship was excellent. I found them to be trustworthy, honest, fair, and professional.
