2nd Time Around Thrift Store

Unbelievable!!! I bought a washer, had it delivered two hours ago, used it, and ended up with water all over the floor. As I'm cleaning up the mess, the plumber who was to fix my ice maker arrived. He took a look at it and saw water leaking from the hose. Since there's a 30 day guarantee, I called the store. This is the store that has a sign about loving God in front of it. The owner, I assume, nastily told me that I bought it from a second hand store and that the guarantee was for the washer....not the hose! The plumber got on the phone and she asked him, "What in the hell do you expect from a second hand store?" Thinking about calling channel 9....

i go here alot and so far these people have always been nice to us,ive bought a tanning bed here among lots of other stuff. i have a couch on lay away at this moment,if u check your merchandise from top to bottom before u buy u should have no problems ,ive always have had a great experience here ,and they work with you on pricing to

Absolutely a joke. . . Purchased a bed frame from this place, got it home to find out it was broke. When we went back, the owner/mgr was very rude. Even made the statement "what do you expect from a second hand store" Really - although it is second hand, it should NOT be broken. Nor as a business owner should you be making money by selling broken merchandise. Then blame the customer for being upset.

I had found a metal cabinet for $25 a few weeks prior but did not buy it then. Went back to purchase it and asked ons of the people there to remove some mechandise from the top of it so that I could carry it out. The man which I assumed was the owner or the manager said that ths cabinet aas worth more than 25 and offered to sell it go me for 40. I found it funny that the item had been there at least two weeks and he waited until someone to popped on an item to jack up the price. I even offered him 30 even tho I thaught the whole situation was crap. He offered go me for 35 plus tax but I refused. I wonder how many more people has encountered a similar situation. There are too many thrift stores everywhere to be acting like that. I am planning not to ever set foot in that place and would recommend others stay away.

I've been to this place many times, but I'll never go back. My last visit I had the unfortunate experience of meeting the owner (50s, dark hair, glasses) and she was extremely rude. She needs a lesson in customer relations. I asked a question about a price and you would've thought I asked her to sacrifice her firstborn. A simple yes or no answer would have sufficed but she was very discourteous and it was completely inappropriate. I wont be back.
