if you want rude service,this is the place to go.when we first arrived we asked did they have fresh crab,waiter said he didnt have a clue .then ater ordering dinner with soup and salad we asked could we get bread and butter,was told didnt come with meal,we said still wanted it,we finished salads and asked again about bread,our waiter responded,'do i look like a baker'.you always have to ask silverware,it dont come with place settings,then they only offer a fork.3rd time in this place,when we said wont be back,he said thank you..other diners heard everything,they couldnt believe the treatment we got.

The service at the Ritz is extremely slow, plan to spend a lot longer here than at most other restaurants. The food is above average for Eureka, CA. The Udon and sushi are acceptable - average for Northern California. The Tempura was below average for California. I have not eaten in the steak house portion but it looks typical of Benni Hana style steak houses.
