Meineke Car Care Center

I wanted to get a free a/c check for my car, so I called early in the morning and asked if I needed an appointment. They told me no, so I went in about 10:30 on a saturday. They told me they can check the car, but they were short staffed, and to be patient, they also told me about prices and procedures 'if' the free check didnt give any results, and once my car was on the machine, it would take around 5 minutes. My wife and I walked around the shopping center and went into a store and looked around for about 30 minutes. We walked back to meineke and they still werent looking at my car. We didnt say anything and sat outside waiting, and they told someone to pull in the car. The first person who was trying to hook up the connectors to the a/c compressor didnt know how, and he was getting frustrated, so I walked over to look at what they were doing to the car. I stayed outside of the shop of course, for insurance purposes, but my car wasnt parked inside the shop. Another tech came over and helped him set up the leads, then asked me what was I getting done to the car. Once I told him, he started the car with his greasy work gloves, then got out of the car and started pushing buttons on the air conditioning testing equipment. Then the main guy who was running the office, told both of them to leave the car and work on other things. The main guy was answering the phone, and dealing with the parts delivery guys. Then his girlfriend/wife showed up and then he sat down and started eating! My wife and I stood there for 1/2 an hour before someone came over to our car, and just told them to disconnect my car. Horrible place, dont expect nothing from them unless you are for sure going to pay for it!
