I purchased a 2006 Toyota Tundra in Jan 2013. According to dealer, a 100 point inspection had been done, spark plugs replaced, oil change, etc. After driving 400 miles the truck would not maintain speed in excess of 35mph. I made it to a shop in Utah on I-15 where it was identified that low grade plugs were used which in turn clogged the catalytic converters. Read any tundra blog, you will see this is possible. After changing the plugs, I had to cut out the catalytic converters in order to drive to my home in CA. Travis did re-imburse me for the spark plugs and did purchase one cat for me to install, probably came out of pockey max $500. One week after being in CA, the truck began to smoke like a freight train. Went back to the shop where it was discovered the the engine was covered in sludge apparently because the truck had not been maintained. The 100 point inspection must be questioned because of the spark plug issue, air filter appeared to never have been changed, the oil plug was just finger tight and was leaking as was the rear differential. Now, two shops have told me that it is not cost effective to clean the engine, the best thing is to put a new one in. But thankfully, I bought the truck with a 3000 mile warranty that will cover $2500! :) But wait, now the warranty co is saying that it doesn't cover "pre-existing conditions", what a surprise! They say that this could not have just happened because I have only driven the vechicle 1500 miles. So I guess the only way for something to go wrong with the engine is if it is driven more than 3000 and thus out of warranty!
So, here I am seeing what's next. This is my experience with EPIC AUTOS, guess I just got the bad apple.

Excellent small business! I dealt directly with Travis (owner) and he was amazingly attentive to my needs. He let me bring my inspector along and test the heck out of the vehicle prior to purchase. He event sent me a missing clip for one connector days after the purchase. Anyone on the market for a Toyota truck or SUV needs to do themselves a favor and check out Epic Autos. Good job, Travis!!

The BEST car dealership I have ever dealt with! I have been buying cars for almost 40 years now and buying a car from Travis at Epic Autos Colorado, Inc. is by far the best experience I have EVER had!

From the moment we walked into Epic Autos to the time we drove our Toyota 4Runner away, Travis made us feel comfortable and provided more answers about the 4Runner than we had questions for. Once we made the decision to purchase the 4Runner, this was also one of the quickest car buys we’ve ever made. No going back and forth for hours between the salesman and sales manager!

Thanks a lot, Travis, and we’ll make sure we recommend you to all our friends and family in the Denver area!

I would highly recommend this ...

I would highly recommend this dealer to anybody. The owner, Travis, is very transparent and honest. He has each of the cars professionally inspected at their respective dealers and all of his vehicles are in good condition. The buying experience was very easy and there was no pressure to buy. As we went through the closing process Travis made sure everything went smoothly and communicated well. If you're looking for an all wheel drive vehicle, this is definitely the place to go!
