Founded in 1929, Trayer is a manufacturer of heavy-truck, highway, construction and agricultural products. The company serves organizations, such as ArvinMeritor, Caterpillar, Federal-Mogul, Ford Motor Company, Sterling International, New Holland, Triangle and Volvo Group. It operates a more than 200,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that offers machining, grinding, drilling, milling, broaching, welding, plasma stamping and punch pressing services. Trayer Products also provides hardening services for ferrous materials. It offers hardened and ground shafts, king, linkage and spring hanger pins, shackles and related chassis parts in a range of sizes. The company has a staff of over 225 employees and is equipped with microprocessor-controlled pit furnaces that have carburizing, nitriding and neutral hardening capabilities.
