We visited Manchester West Veterinary Hospital for the first time this week. The staff was very friendly and I could tell they really cared about our dog. We also got our dog groomed and he is not an easy dog to groom. They did a great job and the price was very reasonable.

We are very happy with the service provided on my six-month old puppy Beau. The staff is very professional at all times. They explain very thoroughly all aspects of test and optional tests for my puppy as he develops. We like their follow-up when puppy gets its shots. We are glad to have found them!!!. The grooming is excellent....love to see Beau looking so handsome!

The staff at Manchester West Vet and the Central Bark West Salon were awesome! My dog has always had a hard time with grooming- growling, barking, biting and the handled him professionally and he came out looking so handsome! 2nd visit will be this week, hope it goes as well. Thanks to everyone there, especially Nicole the groomer- this is the only place I will take him from now on!

Manchester West Vet Hospital greeted Prince Charming and I with a friendly and open atmosphere. The staff was very professional and caring. Prince Charming and Dr. Stauder even rubbed noses!!! I loved it. I had several questions and Dr Stauder took the time to answer all of the them and did not seem rushed about it----seemed to WANT to take the time to answer questions/concerns. Prince Charming felt comfortable enough to actually lay down on the floor and relax----has never happened before in a veterinary office . Thank you!!

I went to see Dr. Matthew Bechtel for a second opinion on my cat who was told needed surgery as soon as possible. After meeting with Dr. Bechtel, he put me at ease and told me we could try other treatments before we jump into having surgery. After a couple different meds and a few days later, my cat is doing so much better. I appreciated all the time he took with me and the very thorough exam he gave my cat. He was very loving and patient with my not so friendly cat.



Staff was very nice and the office was very clean.

I went in without an appointment after my kitten jumped in front of a bush I was clipping. I took her in with good slice in her side and they saw her right away. Three staples later and an antibiotic shot and she was good to go. We were later welcomed to the practice with a hand written thank you note. Their website is full of helpful tools and articles as well.

After recognizing our older cat might be close to the end, we felt an obligation to,at least,ensure she was comfortable. Manchester West got us in immediately, worked very hard to give the best, yet affordable care, and today-HAPPY LITTLE DIVA CAT!!! MANY THANKS TO ALL AT MANCHESTER WEST!!

Best Vet. service I have ever had. Called the next day to follow up on how my dog was doing after immunizations. Vet answered all my questions. EVERYONE should take their pets there!

Manchester West Veterinary Hospital is an exceptional place. The facility is very clean, the staff is very friendly and truly caring towards the animals. The doctor I met with was very friendly and took good care of our dog.



Called to get our dog in for some digestive issues and I was able to get an appointment the same day. Four days later and all is well with Molly!!

Manchester West Veterinary Hospital is top-notch, the best!. I have been taking my dogs there for over 10 years. While the obvious main focus is medical attention for animals, the doctors and entire team make it a point to get to know you and your furry child. You feel as if you join a family. Everyone is beyond caring and helpful. No one stops or gives up until your furry child feels better, even if close to closing time or after closing. Annual exams are not rushed and each question is answered in detail. It all starts when the team answers the phone in such a welcoming manner to seeing the tech team to the doctors. Every step along the way is handled with specific attention to compassion and care for your animal.....and the human! - why you feel as if you join a family.

P.S. The Groomers!! The best in town! Prior to going to their groomers, my dogs would get ear infections and the grooming was not near as good. It's more of a spa day with their groomers.

I have been going to Dr. Roberts for over 20 years. I am very impressed by the fact that as his office grew - the one-on-one special care that my pets received has never changed. Dr. Roberts truely cares for the animals that he treats. I have referred several of my friends and family to Dr. Roberts - and everyone has been very happy with this office. When I have had serious health issues with my pets - Dr. Roberts took the time to educate me on what was actually going on with them and would discuss how the treatment was going to help.

I've lived in many different areas and this is the best veterinary hospital I've come across. All of the staff are caring and professional. My cats have been treated by Dr. Stauder and Dr. Bechtel and both of them are excellent. They have a knack for handling animals that is calming and reassuring to my cats. I also like the way they take the time to thoroughly explain procedures and answer my questions.

We have been taking our pets to Manchester West since moving to the St. Louis area in 1999. Dr. Roberts, the other docs, the vet techs, and all of the wonderful crew behind the front desk (and not to forget Sharon Roberts :) are the very, very best...I wouldn't trust the care of my pets to anyone else, and everyone at the clinic has become family to me. We've been through lymphosarcoma (and chemo) with Sam, my Bernese Mountain Dog, congestive heart failure with Gunny...the world's best Boxer, congestive heart failure with my Chihuahua, Mister....my child....who with the good care of the folks at Manchester West....is still going strong, IBS with Oscar the kitty, severe arthritis with Missy, my ancient rescue Pit/Chow mix, and unfortunately....too many cases of pure old-age with some cancer thrown in with a number of my kitties. I can't count the number of times over the last 11+ years that I've had to make a call in the middle of the night to the clinic due to some emergency with one of my kids. and have always gotten an immediate response from one of the doctors. What else can I say???? Manchester West is the best, and I'm so thankful I found them when I moved to MO. They are professional, knowledgeable, caring, understanding and empathetic. Sometimes it seems it is as difficult for them when I lose one of my pets, as it is for me. They always listen to me, and give my thoughts and ideas complete consideration when treating my pets. Thanks to ALL OF YOU at Manchester West!

Honestly I don't know what I would do without the great care that I have received for my English Bulldogs & Two Cats at Manchester West. Dr. Roberts literally saved my first English Bulldog--she had an internal hernia in her diaphragm at 6 months old and the liver lobes broke apart and went through the opening and up to her chest pushing her heart over. He had to completely open her up and put everything back in place. He saved her life! They also board dogs & cats there when you are on vacation and I wouldn't even consider taking my "girls" to a kennel. When we are out of town I have complete peace of mind knowing that they are in a safe, clean environment with a loving & caring staff.
