Baabak Zarrabian is a graduate of the Antonin Scalia Law School, George Mason University, in Arlington, Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree at George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia, where he received a B.A. in Integrative Studies (Legal Studies concentration), Magna Cum Laude. Prior to joining the firm, Baabak had almost five years of legal experience, including contract law, civil litigation, criminal law, and commercial leasing.

The claim arose from an alleged sexual assault by a cab driver in July 2019. The victim reported the assault to the police the next morning, was examined by hospital personnel and completed an incident report. The police interviewed the cab driver the same day.
