Appalachian Family Dentistry

I am very nervous when it comes to going to the dentist. Ugggg the thought of getting a cleaning just terrifies me, much less having to get a shot. I have been to this dental office twice now. Ms. Becca the hygienist is so sweet and very gentle. Trust me I have been to places that feel like they are using a weed whacker on the gums and polishing with salt. My experience was the exact opposite here. The cleaning went very smoothly and everyone was so friendly! Dr. Carly gave me my check up and unfortunately she found one cavity. Well I was not entirely happy to hear this but I do drink a ton of soda so it was not a huge surprise. I booked the appointment to have it removed and filled with the front desk lady (not sure of her name but she was very nice). My second visit I was very nervous and I requested nitrous. Dr. Carly came in and spoke with me before the procedure. She explained everything thoroughly which made me feel at ease. She also told me if at any point I felt uncomfortable or in pain just to raise my hand and she would stop working. I felt more at peace knoing I was in control. After that I was given nitrous and before I knew it the procedure was over PAIN FREE!!!! I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A STRESS FREE VISIT! I LOVE MY NEW DENTIST!!!!!!!!
