        We live in Shreveport, La and came to Texas for a bbq road trip. Southside was great. The pork steak, sausage and brisket were the best I've had. The sides and desserts were excellent.

        We had lunch at another bbq place in Round Rock earlier in the day and brought some leftovers to the room. Needless to say, the other bbq went into the trash and Southside bbq now resides in our hotel fridge (until I eat all of it at midnight).

        The Best Hot Sausage in Texas

        this is a very casual restaurant with great food, I know that everybody is a critic when it comes to Texas Bar B Q, but South side has the local market beat hands down for it's Sausage. The building is just a building, nothing great, the back room sports a collection of trophy mounts. Don't forget to try some of there great sauce.
