- We are family owned and have lived in the Austin area for 35 years. We have 68 RV spaces for daily, weekly or monthly rentals. Several are pull-through sites. Many have 8 x 8 storage buildings on the site. We are located close to Willow Creek, between Elgin and Manor on Hwy 290. Only 6 miles away from the legendary BBQ of Elgin! Quiet park, friendly people. But I can't understand why someone would build an RV park of this size and only put in ONE RESTROOM and ONE SHOWER. When the park is full, its nearly impossible to get a shower until around 3 am.
Very quite area. Reasonable rates. Cheaper than an apartment. Kid friendly. Owners were very helpful. Our camper was damaged by a wind storm while we were away for a few days. The owner and some of the parks long term guests used their own personel tarps and tie downs to secure our camper. Then, they called us to tell us about the problem. Several times through-out our stay the owners stopped by to check on us.
The location was perfect for our needs. Close to work and 5-10 minutes away from a grocery store and small town amenities. Perfectly located outside of the busy Austin area. We made several day trips to area state parks and attractions within an hours drive of the campground.
