New Hong Kong

Just got done with dinner at this "quaint" (I'm 99% sure it's an old post office! Fun :) Chinese restaurant, and it was great.



I had the Chicken Chow Mein and a soda, out the door for $9.20 (minus the tip I left). I'm staying in a hotel right off the highway, from that location you wouldn't realize Eldridge is a pretty neat little town at most 5 minutes away.



Can't say how good the rest of the dishes are, but I came away satisfied. I did note that there was no duck on the menu (not uncommon in the States I guess) and no BBQ Pork appetizer, which I was looking forward to. But don't let that change your mind unless you HAVE to have either one.



Out of 5 stars, I give them "only" a 4, due to the lack of BBQ pork. :) But the service and meal I had was great...portion just about right, and I'd consider myself a fairly big eater. I idn't walk away with a doggy bag, but wasn't overly stuffed.
